The 14th and 15th of October would have been one of the best weekends, weather wise, around in quite sometime. Although I was working most of both days, driving along the towns esplanade, I pulled over and climbed down to the beach, just to look at the view. It was high tide, in the shade, waves gently crashing, not a soul to be seen. It was truly a great scene.
The whole experience got me thinking, no wonder Hervey Bay is Australia's number one growing town! Hervey Bay experiences great weather like this all year round. To my advantage, I had my camera phone with me, so below are some shots taken. I did infact take a video, but forgot to save it, so only pictures for today.
So While I was taking these pictures, and taking in the scenic surroundings, I was thinking of other poor Australians who had to deal with their surroundings..
Poor Ole Victorians and their terrible weather and climate!
Sydney and it's smog! - "Sydney the smog capital!"
Today at work, I was driving back from a delivery at the end of our town. Now I was coming home Via the esplanade (the road that follows the beach) and I saw this and just had to pull in and take a picture. The weather in Hervey Bay today was incerdible.. But I was working, I think most people were at the beach.
Well, yes, this year, I'm a big player in the Hervey Bay Seafood Festival, and it is only a week to do. I have a lot of work to do in respects to presentations and what not. For those in the area, it is definitely an event to visit.
For perhaps one of the first times in my life, have I ever had work to do, and quite a bit. Yet, I still feel as if I am keeping on top of it, with all my distractions and what not.. I still spend nowhere near the amount of time on school work as I should. I'm not worried, I'm learning more important things. Like Php and Css...
This week has been different, I've been working away on a few assignments, which are all becoming due very soon. Still, I make time to VOX (Blog) and talk to people, and do other internet related stuff, like YouTube and Digg.. Terrible time wasters..
I was going to talk about Australias Technology Radio Show's new website, but it seems in the short time I've been on VOX, I've already talked about websites, so I'll hold back for a little while longer untill I go on about it again.
Report Wise, I have a 4000 word business plan due in at the end of the week, a personal manifesto draft due on Friday, a website design due on friday, then the week after has a maths paper, along with another english paper on "Australian Identity" and aswell as a manual arts exam and practical assignment.. But, no pressure. Perhaps I'm lucky I don't buckle under pressure?
I'm still planning the Hervey Bay Seafood Festival, which will be a big day for me, and Hervey Bay.
While I'm doing all this work, I'm hooked on the iTunes radio station in the 80's category called 80's Groove 103.9FM from the Uk or something, regardless, some of the BEST 80's songs I've heard in a long time.. I spend many hours listening to it.
