It isn't that easy to be me! People often say how it's so good making money from doing stuff on the computer. Well It isn't that easy! At present, I am doing jobs that will in the end pay, $400 + $200 + $400. Wow - $1000, thats not bad for playing on a computer. Well it is. I have also got myself involved in many other projects around the internet that consume a lot of time.
Negative Penguin Media - This is a constant pull on my time. It is a comitment I made, that takes many hours every week to keep fixing / changing / adding things to the web based system.
1 Web Programming Job - True, I do enjoy programming, but this current job seems to be getting me no where, $400 isn't bad, but it is very cheap. I'm spending hours and hours getting things to work, and for bare slave wage! I know other Australian firms quoted for this job, in the thousands.
2 Web Design Jobs - These are pretty easy, normally a bit of fun, and quick. But what makes web deisn jobs annoying is that customers normally forget about it, and I don't get paid for weeks, even months after starting the job. NOt that I'm working for that time frame.. but the money is slow.
Podcasting - This is a no return job that takes a lot of time, and there is nothing in return...
In other words, I think it would actually be quite easy just to show up to Target or Best Buy or somewhere like that, and do your 6 hours and go home. Because when I go home, there is nothing but more work to do... yay... Must continue...

And it's about time - just recently I made probably one of the most important additions to the website. NPM was getting about 1500 spam comments a day, and deleting them, and leaving the good ones, is really quite a job. So after deleting about 3000 Spam Comments, I put in an image verification system, Thank goodness, we haven't had one spam comment in days.. WOO HO

I had the job of deleting the Show "Generation Y" today from Negative Penguin's Line-up. This has been a first for me; so I thourght it would be suitable to keep a momentum.
If only it were just that simple. But Still - Generation Y will move on to different things, I wish them all the best.
On a more positive note; G'day to the Nick and Dana Show - who will soon be entering (when I get time) NPM as our first non-owned show. Their show is available at nickanddana.com/ and soon, on the NPM Network.

In my oppinion, the Teen Podcasters Network is no rival to me, or the organisation I work with (Negative Penguin) - we're two different groups, doing two different things.
I woke up this morning, with someone whose messaged me saying they've stolen the NPM idea of "Labs" which is something we introduced along time ago. However, we haven't put out all the features inside labs, that we will.
I don't think TPN has stolen anything really, because Negative Penguin didn't invent the concept of Labs, however, we may have been one of the first for Podcasting Networks.
Congrats to TPN, the design is much better than before. This one is very "pastel'ish" prolly one too many colours in my oppinion, but still, it looks good.

I hope this is the last redesign for a while, but I know it will not be. However, this current design is much better that what it ever has been. I feel that it is a step in the right direction for Negative Penguin Media
The great advantge of the current cms (Boonava) which has been custom built for NPM is that is can easily have changed applied to it, with out having to go in and manually modify php or html files.
